Connect UPC box and Dvd player to TV, only one scart

Hope someone can help me. Have an old TV with only one Scart input. Trying to get both DVD player and UPC box connected at same time., so if I turn on the DVD player it'll override the UPC box and show the DVD. Any ideas how I can do this ? Thanks in advance.

You could go for something basic like these:

With those you will more than likely have to power one device off when using the other, but it would save you constantly plugging them in & out as well as risking damaging the pins in the process.

These ones have manual switching selectors, so there would be no need to power either device off - you just manually press a switch on the splitter to choose which device you want to use:
