I'm on juice diet. I still eat solid foods like salads, meet(not every day..max 2wice a week). for past few days I feel like I can't take deep breath. feels like faster and more shallow. is that possible that I have electrolyte imbalance?
What to do to increase or reduce it then?

ive no idea ;-) but the only obvious thing I could think of is being short of salt? do you add salt to your drinks?

    no..
I would think that salt is rather unhealthy?
would sea salt do the job?:-)

Do you mean just juice and no food? This sounds very unhealthy and a yoyo diet.

I eat salad or soups during the day...sometimes meat depends what is served at work. during the weekend I would eat mostly food no juices (eggs, fish, some chicken).
I know it doesn't sounds healthy.... but apart from weight gain I can't really eat bread, pasta etc. to the point that I wouldn't have a day without heart burn or feeling uncomfortable.

its essential. the only problem is the hidden salt in processed foods. If you wanted to feel good about it get himalayan Pink salt or the Celtic sea salt. If you believe the hype they retain more trace minerals and aren't cooked at high temperatures like normal table salt.

Okay juice diets are bad as they form no long lasting changes and are far from balanced.
However if your light headed it could be low sodium. Take a mug of stock. That sorted me out when I was low on sodium.

I'm not happy with this thread tbh. You are asking strangers why you feel unwell while on an unusual diet. Its pretty close to medical advice.

However. Discussion of this type of diet is ok though bear in mind faddy diets are not encouraged here. Anecdotal experiences are fine. But I would prefer not to see discussion of symptoms or diagnoses of things that may be wrong with you. So please do not ask.

    3 step process;
    1) go to doctor and clear medical issues
    2) stop with the juice diet
    3) eat 3 meals a day where each meal has 1 palm sized portion of protein, 1 to 2 big handfuls of veg, and 1-2 thumb sized portion of healthy fats

Add in 2 "good" snacks a day, it could even be your juice.

Do it for 28 days, get it 80% correct.

Come back leaner, healthier and happier :)
