Hey, I'm doing social care at WIT and will be needing to get my third year work placement soon. I was just wondering if anyone could recommend places around waterford city? Particularly not within the area of disability as I have already done placement in that area. thanks. :)

You must be in my year there is a men's hostel. It is pretty much right across from college and it's ran by st Vincent de Paul. Waterford womens centre do some work with domestic violence. I think the Edmund rice centre do some sort of youth work but I'm unsure. There should be a lot of services up in Ballybeg!
