Lower back/Hamstrings

    I've had problems with this in the past and I'm looking to address it yet again. Came across this exercise (http://www.pinkbike.com/news/How-to-Touch-Your-Toes-Without-Stretching-2013.html) which I actually tried last year and I did manage to improve my flexibility somewhat and touch my toes, something I was never able to do before. Thoughts on the exercise linked? Good idea/bad idea?

    A lot of lower back and hamstring problems come from underdeveloped glute muscles. In terms of strength and mobility

    It's standard FMS movement corrections. They're good stuff.

    And he explains hip hinge -v- spinal flexion well.

    But look at a smaller part of a bigger problem.

    A logical extension to this, is that a lot of hamstring and lower back problems come from sitting down too much which lead to weak glutes and hams.
