The Cork Opera House seating chart at 2.20pm shows 75 seated tickets remaining in Upper Circle and 43 seated tickets remaining in Dress Circle! No detail on Standing but I would imagine Cork will sell out today or tomorrow!

thanks for the heads up - just got tickets for Galway

i saw them last summer in Paradiso, Amsterdam it was the 5th time i saw them play and one of the best. small enough venue at it was amazing. i prefer seeing fantastic live bands in smaller settings. pity no Dublin date were announced but i am sure they be playing the end of the summer as they have a new album out in a couple of months

Any links for the derry show?

    Edit: Got the link

Fair play to the op. Got 2 tickets for Cork.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 183 ✭✭PadraigOK

All gone apparently, or at least the pre-sale ones have. Derry doesn't see many gigs so the demand will be huge, especially in a venue as small as The Nerve Centre.

I have a ticketmaster account will that make it easier to get tickets tomorrow?

900 standing capacity I was told when The 1975 played there a few weeks ago ... there's a balcony all the way round too.
I prefer Seapoint to Leisureland (no smell of chlorine) but I don't understand why the BlackBox is not used more often for gigs

Doubt it tbh, doesn't seem to be a major promoter like MCD or Aiken involved in these, who normally do Dublin stuff.. and woulda been announced today.
Limerick and Galway aren't exactly far from Dublin anyway.

Got mine for Limerick this morning. Cheers to the lovely people of boards, I hadn't realised it was even happening til late last night!

Thanks for heads up, got tickets for Galway. They played big gigs in Royal Hospital last year and Marlay Park year before so maybe holding off on Dublin for a little bit.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,651 ✭✭✭LowOdour

Bought two tickets for Galway...and only realised then that I had something already booked for that weekend. Need to see if can get out of it now. Spent my youth going to Bingo with the aul fella in the Seapoint every sunday night...how times have changed!

Same here....having the moring coffee at my desk and stumbled across it. Would have been mildly sickened to miss out.

Dolans said there's not many tickets left so I'd suggest getting them today for anyone that's interested.

Have Kasabian a new album on the way??

Well if you end up not being able to go I'd be happy to buy them off of you for face value. Friend of mine told me that he had a ticket for me and I never bothered buying one, met him last night and asked for the ticket only to be told "oh yeah, I never bothered getting them. Sure they'll release loads more".
