You should 'see' the error of your ways.. and start listening to decent music!

    Status Quo, definitely Status Quo!

or you could just burn the money instead, theres a certain power to be had from knowing you just wasted 70 quid by burning it rather than giving it to someone else to 'burn' for you (in this case the promoter)

Linkin Park stand for all that is wrong in rock/metal.

    Dual vocals? DUAL VOCALS!!!!!!!!! FFS.

Is there a rule to screaming in to mics now or something? Or for music fot that matter?

Why don't you go see a good band instead?

Cans by the tent sound like a better option to be honest. Failing that go to see whichever one has the better band playing after them

Sell your ticket and see Lacuna Coil at Bloodstock.

I dont mind Linkin Park but I find them rather dull now.

No arguement. Has to be Quo.

The classic line-up is back for one last tour.

Francis Rossi, Rick Parfitt, Alan Lancaster & John Coughlan.

    Arise ye Rockers!

Also saw Crazy Town on the lineup; I can't believe they're still a thing!
    Lest we forget.....

skip to approx 30 seconds in on this clip...

I like Status Quos sixties psychedelic phase. I have a box set of their sixties singles and there's some good stuff on it. Admittedly it was derivative of a lot of other bands that were around at the time but I much prefer it to their seventies output. I especially like Pictures Of Matchstick Men. I doubt they play any songs from that period live though.

Everything they've released from the seventies onwards sounds very samey to me. I love the intro to Whatever You Want but don't care much for the rest of the song.

If Linkin Park were playing in the street outside my house I wouldn't open the curtains to see them.

Status quo!? Jesus what an awful awful band.
Linking park is an easy choice above that, then again I'd go see dublin gospel choir over status quo

No idea what the appeal of Quo is.

12-bar blues gets boring quick even in a single song, but to have built an entire career on the same repetitive riff really is quite some achievement.

    Music for Clarkson's everywhere.

Where is link in park playing

Quo started to disintegrate from the early '80 onwards.

Once the classic lineup of Rossi,Parfitt,Lancaster,Coughlan, split up, the band turned into a parody of itself.

From '82 onwards the band became an embarassment & stayed one for many years afterwards.......

    It wasn't always like that.

Their Tunes weren't all the same. Really they weren't.

go and watch the quo. they have the original frantic four line up back together and quo's seminal album Piledriver has been rereleased as a deluxe version with extra tracks to great reviews. their 70's stuff is damn good and heavy as hell. quo were insanely popular in the 70's even though you wouldn't believe it from watching those bbc doc's about 70's rock. as far as they are concerned it was all Bowie, Lou Reed, T-Rex, Roxie Music etc etc etc.

Linkin Park. How could this get old...

    Singer: I AM SO NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMB

Rapper/Hedgehog: Yea yea I become so numb, yea yea yea yea yea yea so numb.

It's hard to be numb when you'r already numb but I guess that's all of my. sums. done. No no, no more homework for me, coz I got be, outside on the streets. with. my. best. friends. yea yea my friends are best. Bet-ter than all the rest. But to me, I love them all e-quall-y so how will I cut some out of my part-y, that's right: my. mom. put. limits - on the party size...

    etc

That's the great thing about this tour, it's the original "Frantic Four"!

I saw them in Castlebar and they rocked the place. I don't think I ever sweated as much in my life. Pure energy!

Don't go in expecting great vocals though, particularly Rick!

Linkin Park are playing Hybrid Theory in its entirety. I'd go see them, no question.

Jaysus... So many Linkin Park haters...

I so them Live in Dublin and they were great. I would go see them OP.

Linkin Park are sterile, generic pop fluff. But whatever floats your boat etc.

Oh lord, calling Quo awful and then rating LP over them, aha, someone needs to be schooled. (Unless you're joking)

Dublin Gospel Choir easily over both of them, incidentally. Trying not to go full music snob here but come on, find out what is going wrong here!

What is the pointless sense in arguing/criticising anyone's taste in music? Like humour, it's all subjective. I enjoy smelling my own farts and I think they're amazing, but hey that's just me.

Nah, I despise status quo, they're the kind of band that are loved by 50-60 year olds clinging to their youth and very little else.
Linkin park rated above them? Easily.
