A Strange Decision.

My neighbors who are husband and wife with two children (One just six months old) are splitting up because the fella was cheating on her. This mans wife is an absolute babe and his children are just adorable. His wife seems like a very nice person. They have a fine house and his wife is successful in her career. He is leaving all this to move in with a lady who has a child from a different relationship and into a rented house which is adequate at best.

The other lady he is seeing is not very easy on the eye and doesn't seem to have much going for her. To be honest, he is punching above his weight with his wife as it is.

I really don't want to come across as insulting but I just can't understand this mans thinking? How could he be so stupid?

My advice would to be to move fast while her self esteem is at an all time low, and aim to be the rebound. :P

As the weather improves and more often there will be windows open in both your houses, hopefully you will be able to hear discussions, rows etc and glean more info on the relationship dynamic.

Is it definitely his decision to leave? See could have found out about the cheating and kicked him out.

In terms of why cheat when you've a hot awesome wife at home, some people are just like that.

But we could say that about anything. You're not him, and you'll never fully know unless you're with her for a few years. You know nothing about life in their home.
