Have my IST next week again, thankfully can go in to it without everything relying on that exam!! Time to really step up the training!

I had the fear opening that e-mail as well.

Reading it over i'm picking up a sense of: We've got your details, we'll get round to giving you a PCA and vetting forms, kindly leave us alone!

Just going by what HR had said previously, I'd guess a batch hear in the next week or two and the remainder at the end of August.

Would love to get things rolling ASAP.

No email for me either. Maybe our vetting forms are in the post haha. Feels like an eternity since we did the actual assessment centre now

Extremely long time lurker, first time poster here!!

I thought I would maybe put some minds at ease at this horrible stage by letting you guys know I received my vetting forms this morning!!!!

I havnt heard a peep from them since my AC result and was nearly giving up hope until they arrived this morning, I scored 63 in AC.

Hopefully won't be too much longer for the rest of you guys, this waiting is agonising as it's such a life changing career to be honest!

I am so happy right now. Recieved the same e-mail.

Basically states that you were in the merit pool and althought it may take some time, you will progress through the next stages of the process.

Also to notify of any changes in personal circumstance. Failure to do so may affect your final outcome basically.


I am thrilled. Its been a long wait.

Find it hard to believe this person actually got vetting forms ! More than one person on here always mentioned if they got them !

If I could take a photo of them and post it I would!! I swear I have vetting forms right here right now!!

I've never registered for these forums but I know how hard it's been having to wait this long with no news at all and watching everyone else progress therefore I thought I'd share my news that I finally got mine and scored 63 in AC to give those with a similar score to mine a bit of hope, as the scores getting closer to mine receiving theirs got me excited and a little wishful!

Maybe 63+ have received vetting forms & 62, 61 and 60 have gotten the email - seems the PSNI have made a start in the final part of the merit list.

Can't say I've noticed anyone sitting at 63 saying they've gotten forms...I stand to be corrected though but it seems like a rational thought.

I couldn't remember and couldn't be bothered looking through past posts. so thought I would ask lol.

After a brief glance through the vetting thread it seems that 64 was the last to get forms etc. so therefore seems that it's 63+ to get the forms this month.

If following the "pattern" 60, 61 & 62 should receive vetting forms late August/early September.
