    Hi,

I am looking for protein bars with high protein content and low fat profile.
Any good Irish website where I can order the same?
I checked on ebay but the shipping is too much.

    Any recommendation is highly appreciated.

Good weekend and happy gymming ;)

Make your own, far cheaper and you have full control of what goes in.

Ditch the sugar and keep the fat in your diet and you're onto a winner

You don't need protein bars. You need to sort of your diet and learn about nutrition

I am a medical doctor myself but then even doctors & nutritionist are fat at times :o

Eating fat doesn't make you fat and eating green veg doesn't make you green

    Sort out your diet first

This was always my problem with doctors.

No offence to you but ye all go around offering nutritional 'advice' and haven't a clue in the slightest.

Take a pill for this that and the other. Yeah sometimes tablets are needed, but I don't understand why they don't look at lifestyle choices etc..

Because they get loads of "gifts" from the drug reps that are constantly in and out if their practice, and loads of pens.

In regards to the cheap bars, subscribe to the major online supplement companies and wait for one of them to have a 20% sale. Happens pretty often.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,914 ✭✭✭masterboy123

can you please tell me the names of such major companies? So i can subscribe for the same.

Also, i am going to buy the raw material today to make protein bars at home. Let's see if they turn out to be good enough. :o
    Thanks everyone

    Surely nicer than quest bars?!

You ever add protein to your paleo bars? If so, how many scoops works well in the mixture?

The above video is excellent, I make your bars all the time so thank you

I am thinking of ordering protein cookie. 37gram of protein in each cookie and good review about it.

what do you guys think of this?

I tried making at home today myself but turned out to be bad :(

What's the delivery charges like with iHerb? Can't seem to find any info on their site.

Found it, looks like delivery is just under €8 on an order of 5 boxes, total order €92 incl delivery. That's €60 cheaper than an equivalent order from the likes of Bodyfirst Nutrition or Fitness Ireland here.

Is there any issue with customs when ordering from them?
