    Hi guys

We know we're not allowed to promote our product through boards but is it ok to use the forum to raise awareness of the product and how farm software can help dairy and beef farmers in general?

Attempting to do so, given your username is itself advertising, would still be self-promotion. If you want to to post on behalf of your product, you can do so through a verified rep account, and I've notified the office already about it.

    Thanks Spear

Does this mean we have to change our account from a registered user to verified rep? Thanks again.

If you want to promote the product, then yes. If not, and you want to keep your account just for personal use, a name change will be provided for you.

Do we have to manually do this ourselves or will boards do it for us?

This will be arranged by the office. Just so you don't get the wrong idea beforehand, verified rep accounts aren't free.

You can email the office direct, or they should PM you once they see the notification I sent them. I have no involvement of the financial aspects, but they'll cover all that when they discuss it.
