Decided to sign up to TRX classes, but the more I think of it the more nervous I get as I'm really unfit.

Would this suit someone really unfit or should I knock it on the head?

I'm quite unfit, and I manage trx once a week no bother! Go for it!! You'll be used to it in no time!!

Everyone starts somewhere, don't let your insecurities talk you out of something you know will be good for you and get you where you want to be.

Grit your teeth and do it.

I did trx once and really pushed myself believing i was really fit, i couldn't move my arms for about 3/4 days after, so id say ease yourself into it.

I started trx last week and like you pushed myself much too hard. I had the worse case of DOMS ever! :pac: But you won't feel that extreme pain again once you keep doing it. It was the same when I started spin...couldn't walk properly for a week after the first class but never felt anything near that pain again.

    Go for it OP!

As they are adjustable you can vary the height the handles are at, which can make exercises easier or harder to do. So in that way it is more like a weighlifting class, they would just lower or increase the weight on your bar to what you are comfortable at.

It is not like say a group running/jogging section where you might fall behind and be embarrassed about holding up the group. Its more like you all being on treadmills and you would just slow yours down a bit.

Yeah by the way the doms after week 1 will have you crying and unable to walk for about 3 days but it gets WAY lighter after the second week and so on...
    great craic!!
