if this is like the one I have, it's fairly thick - abut the thickness of 3 credit cards. it's brilliant, but might not be all that comfortable in a wallet.

There's a keyring hole as well if that's more convenient.

Haysus! I can't imagine jamming a bunch of keys with that on it into my trouser pocket. Maybe a woman could get away with it, but a fella? My eyes are watering just thinking about the damage it could do.

I swear to God, if you go to the airport and forget to take that out of your wallet when they scan everything, then you are seriously fupped!!

My other half had one of these in his wallet and forgot it was there... passed straight through both Knock & Liverpool airports without being pulled :O

    Has anybody received one yet?
    What's the quality like?
I somehow resisted temptation when the OP went up, and have regretted it ever since :(

    Arrived today :D

Pretty decent quality, decent strength in it and not shabbily made. Little pouch to keep it in too.

Arrived today too. Heres the functions as the are labelled:

    1. Can opener: The bottom hook used with the upper edge, can open tin cans easily.
    2. Lateral Knife: sharp blade, used to cut the rope and other things.
    3. Screwdrivers: in the corner of the card (in this place can increase the strength of the mechanics and more effort), can be used for usual screws.
    4. Ruler: metric scale, minimum scale to mm.
    5. Bottle screwdriver: for beer, beverage bottle cap opening.
    6. Positioning wrench: four different types of Hexagon Wrench, suitable for usual sizes of bolts and nuts.
    7. Live wrench: a hollow groove strip, you can squeeze any items with flat turnbuckle.
    8. Sawtooth: double staggered sawtooth, used to cut wood branches and to remove the scales.
    9. Direction indicator: with 16 accurate scale in different directions.
    10. Positioning wrenches: two different types of Hexagon wrench.
    11. Keyhole: this card can be hung on the key ring.

    This.

Looks like everyone got them today. It's a lot better than I was expecting for 7 cents

    Pretty impressive list that!

Bet Bear Grylls could build an entire village in an afternoon deep in the Amazon rain forest with one of those and a can of red bull to stew a few centipedes in for lunch on the go!

What on earth is a "live wrench" and what can I do with it. Aside from that, seems like a fairly useful piece to carry in your wallet. I may just order a second one as back-up. No need to carry my swiss card around anymore. I'll have no major concerns about losing 7 cents worth when I'm out and about.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,975 ✭✭✭nkay1985

Hope mine is waiting for me when I get home this evening.

Mine just arrived. Best 7c I sent in a long time.

Came this morning. As others have said its more robust than I thought it was going to be. I was expecting something a lot thinner but this is really strong and robust. My only reservation is that I think the key ring hole is on the wrong side for safe handling - I'm thinking of terms of giving your keyring over to a cashier to scan your clubcard in the likes of Dunnes with the sharp edges on this would not be on.
