I am considering building a Altitude room in my house. I am confident that I convert one of my rooms to make it fully air tight, this will allow me to adopt the live high train low method of Altitude training.

I am looking at buying a altitude generator from here http://www.higherpeak.com/mag-10.html. This is must cheaper than what I can find in Ireland.

Does anyone have any advice for me?

If your trying to save money then why not a 2nd hand one like http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hypoxico-HYP123-HYP100-Altitude-Generator-and-Tent-/271424875878?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3f322eed66

Know nothing about them but a little about building and making a room air tight is not easy. A tent would make much more sense as you can take it with you.

What are you trying to gain from building this? Are you struggling to reach a specific performance level and feel that this will help? I am just curious...

I love sport... why not. I have money saved up, was going to buy a new car but that has no appeal to me.

Biy how airtight are the tents? The room does not have to be fully airtight as far as I know!
