Does anybody know if this can be purchased anywhere at a reasonable price? The only places I've seen it in, in pill or powder form, range from high teens to high twenties in € for a supply of 10 days or so.

PS Should I believe the hype about it?

You can buy a kilo bag on Bulk powders for about 60 euro, if I remember correctly.

I use it, definitely makes a difference to your general sense of wellbeing.

    How do you take spirulina?

I use a 0.5ml scoop, throw 1-2 scoops into a shaker with some water. It doesn't taste very nice, but it isn't as disgusting as a lot of people seem to think. It's also very easy to overpower; if you use sweetened BCAA, for example, it adequately covers the taste of the spirulina.

I bought 125g of the Oskri stuff for about €12. A 5g teaspoon gives me 25 servings for €12 so about 50c a day.

For the price of it we’d want to be talking about Jedi powers here. Crazy the way the stuff that has these amazing effects on the human body is always really rare and really expensive. No one’s gonna come out and say potatoes give you a sense of wellbeing. The only sense of wellbeing I’d get would be if my wife let me see my kids after she divorced me for spending €20 on a week’s supply of dried pond scum.

Stupid Rich Roll and his smug hipster glasses.

the stuff is so wretched that a tub lasts a long time. at the start you have to wait for the memory of how bad the green stuff is to go before you're onto the next one.!did notice a big difference in my energy levels when I took it consistently though

How many times a day do you take it and when is the best time, morning?

Could you mix it with a whey protien shake to somewhat mask the taste??

Think its really trial and error on your own taste of what will mask it. Personally the whey protein i take (kinetica blackcurrant) would not mask the taste at all.

I usually blend a small amount into a fruit smoothie , you can still taste it but less so
