this is the first time the game has appeared in English. The translation is superb and has been carried out by Atlus's top translation team. I've been playing it a lot today and have to say I'm surprised how well it controls. So if you want an actual RPG and not one of those awful Kemco ones then this is the one to go for. Be warned the game is tough but at least if you die it let's you continue from where you died unlike the original which would force you back to your last save point.

Hopefully we see mt2 and smt...if get the same treatment. SMT2 in particular is an absolute gem.
