Don't get to drunk out there this evening people. However if you do use this thread for all your 'I love you guys' posts.

And to all the begrudging seagulls who were waiting to pounce, all I can say is I'm sorry I didn't get to ban you.

Doesn't GD have to shave now that we won, or was that just for a G.Slam?

Wow, what a game. I bought a bottle of Green Spot whiskey, (whiskey drinkers will know what I'm talking about), a week or two ago. Will crack it open tonight and boy will that bottle take a hit!

What a game. Really didn't think they would do it today. Thought the French would turn up & have too much for us. Never been as happy to be wrong. What a performance. Trimble was fantastic. POC immense. The team worthy winners. And for BOD. A send off fitting of a world class sportsman.

Hope all you boardies have a great night.

The beer for breakfast and lunch was swapped for vodka for dinner. Now it's on to the red wine for supper. It will not end well. :D

Edit: babybrian, they said on the news that the team gets home at 2.30 tomorrow.

  • Too good. I watched the game in a room full of English men who were cheering France whilst internally wishing Ireland would win and BOD would hold the trophy on his last day in green.

Clearly they all believed in "the game" and not "the result".

We might not have been the biggest winners (on the scoreboard) today, we might have got a lucky shout or two (as did the French in fairness), we might not even have been the best team in the tournament this year (England imo), but we've won it, we've won the ****ing thing, we've lifted the French monkey off our back, we've sent BOD off as he should be, hoisted on the shoulders of lads with winners medals around their neck.

This is rugby. This is our sport. Tonight is ours.

And here I was thinking Molloy was engaging in a bit of light frotting in the pub. But no, it was actually just packed to the rafters.

And thank God for that, could never have looked his other half in the face again...

Yeah those 2 French fans were the only disappointing thing about the day.

For those who weren't there they were basically singing cheerio as Sexton was being out in a neck brace.

Woke up this morning thinking it was a dream, then I realised it wasn't a dream... It's not a dream, right?

Just in case I'm gonna go around Paris today and ask every French person I see if they know the result...

No it wasn't a dream. Ferris returned last night and Ulster won. We just have to get through today and hope for an Irish victory. :pac:
