    I made a thread a few weeks ago about manually upgrading my PC with various components, but since I've realized that my motherboard is a little dated, I'm just going to buy a custom built gaming rig. The only question I have is, where's the best place to buy them? There are no brick and mortar shops in my area that specialize in them. So would anyone know of any online stores that sell them for decent prices?

    I found this website the other day but I'm holding on to my options first before I make a final decision;
    And from what I've heard about Alienware I'm leaving them as a last choice - very, very, very last choice

    The absolute worst place to buy one is the site you found, unfortunately. They charge an absolute fortune for mediocre specs. Copy and fill out the first post in this thread, and paste it in here. We'll sort you out. :)

    Ditto on custom pc being the worst site.

    Oh dear, ha! I stand corrected then, so

    1. What is your budget? [€500-800]

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? [Gaming] (Shogun 2: Total War, Skyrim on Max settings, Starcraft 2 on Extreme, Rome 2: Total War, The Sims 4, Football Manager 2014 with 4 stars game speed or more)

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? [Yes]

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? [Yes*] (*I could hold on to my graphics card for a while. GTS 250 Nvidia)

    5. Do you need a monitor? [No]

    5a. If yes, what size do you need.

    5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future?
    [1920x1080] [No]

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? [No]

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? [No]

    8. How can you pay? [Visa Debit or PayPal]

    9. When are you purchasing? [Between now and end of Summer at some stage]

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? [Not required]
