I want to tone up & lose weight. I'm not very over weight or anything i'm a size 10-12, it's my legs in particular my inner thighs & calfs are huge, i can feel them wobble as i walk.

Can i have some advice on what's the best exercises i should be doing? and are they any particular foods i should avoid other than the obvious junk food?

People carry weight in different places compared to other people. You'll be familiar with the terms Apple and Pear shape.

You cannot spot reduce fat. Best to have an overall fitness regime. But, no harm specifically targetting leg muscles as part of your exercise.

Foods to cut. Processed foods in general, most bread in particular.

Food is what changes a body, so get your nutrition sorted first. Cutting out junk, yes, but also eating well. Go to the nutrition forum on here and there are some stickied threads up the top with all your information.

Exercise-wise, lift weights. I lost a lot of weight so my legs will never be perfect but they've never been as good as they are now from lifting heavy weights- squats, deadlifts etc... If you want a good start programme the book New Rules of Lifting for Women is excellent. I would try and arrange a PT Session to get you familiar with the main moves though.

I do think i consume to much bread actually, i always have brown wholemeal, do you think i'd be better off cutting it out completely?

I might eat 1 slice of toasted wholemeal bread with two 60g of tuna as part of a main meal, but I'm at the cutting stage. No other bread during the day.
