Some help to lose the last 10-ish pounds please

First time thread starter here, please be gentle :)

I'm 5'2 and 126lbs. In the past year I have lost over 2 stone and while I am delighted I still have about 10 pounds to lose and am finding it a bit hard! I eat quite well (in my opinion), I have a very balanced diet and rarely eat sweets and chocolate anymore (T1 diabetic). However, I do not exercise much these days because my gym membership ran out and I am quite busy with college work but I do walk around campus quite a bit. My weight has been the exact same since October so I'm quite content that what I'm doing right now is helping to maintain my weight. My BMI is 23 which is in the healthy range but for health reasons I'd like to have it a bit lower. Also, I tend to carry weight in my stomach so I am quite unhappy with that but I know that with losing another 10-ish pounds and strength training it'll improve.

I'd really appreciate any suggestions on where I can improve food-wise. Of course I know exercise is a big one and I am figuring out how to fit it into my life since it's changed a lot the past few months. Going out for a walk/run isn't an option because the only time I'd be able to is the late evenings and the area I live in isn't the safest.

    Thanks everyone! :)

Whats does your diet look like?

For breakfast I'll have 2 scrambled or boiled eggs with two slices of whole meal toast.

For lunch I'll have a sandwich on two slices of whole meal bread, usually tuna or chicken and low fat mayo with lots of lettuce and onion.

For dinner I have some kind of meat with lots of broccoli and green beans and a small bit of pasta/potato.

I can only eat three times a day due to the insulin regime I'm on so if I want a snack I'll have something that's just protein that won't affect my blood sugar levels.

Of course this changes, like today for lunch I had a white roll (I allow myself one a week-they're my weakness) and since it was pretty carb heavy I had baked chicken breast (plain) with broccoli for dinner.

There's lots of great advice on this forum. Not sure if advising a T1 diabetic is within its remit though. You probably know about the specific effects of T1 diabetes better than most.

Good luck, hopefully someone specifically skilled can help.

Diet looks pretty good, provided your not going over your daily cals somewhere, its looks like your metabolism may have just adapted or become comfortable with your eating habits. You could consider cutting down on the bread and spud to see if that kick starts weight loss again.

Have you considered some light resistance training? No need for a gym as you could just do it at home, couple of minutes each day. Muscle burns a lot of calories too so its important to keep them exercised and active.

Not an expert on T1 diabetes, but with T2, there's plenty of evidence that cutting out breads can actually control it.

Instead of the bread at breakfast, why not add an extra egg, or maybe some bacon?
At lunch, instead of a sandwich, get all you'd normally eat but on a plate with full fat mayo. Normally if something says "low fat" it means "high sugar".
Run a country mile from the white rolls!

You kinda answered your own question without realising it. You said "so if I want a snack I'll have something that's just protein that won't affect my blood sugar levels. "
That has to point you to a Ketogenic or LCHF diet.

Depending on your bread manufacturer, you could be taking in 1g of sugar and between 15g-20g of carbohydrate per slice.
