Relatively quick healthy breakfasts for kids

    Hi

I stopped buying cereal for my teenage daughter a good two years ago now. She wouldn't eat porridge if I got Niall Horan himself to spoonfeed it to her... so I generally make her pancakes or scrambled egg or scrambled egg with bacon... those are the only three healthy brekkies I have in my locker!

Any other breakfast recommendations for a teen who's always been something of a faddy eater?

    Thanks in advance...

She would eat that alright for a snack or desert - blueberries and yogurt with maybe some plain crushed biscuit to sweeten the deal. Thanks!

How about muesli? You could make up a big batch of your own including only things she likes.

    Shame she won't eat porridge...

Does she like avocado? Avocado on brown bread is a big hit here for breakfast. As is banana on toast.

    Smoked mackerel too.

2-3 eggs in a mug in the microwave with some real butter and pepper. Takes 1 minute. Delish

Also "raw" porridge with whole milk is lovely

    One word: omelette.

Gives you carte blanche to adds in all sorts.

    BOOM!

Couple of soft boiled eggs with toasty soldiers. I still make this for myself and I'm 30.
