My parents still have UPC analogue but their VCR () packed in. Are there any other options besides this dinosaur to record stuff for them? Something like a DVR but for analogue would be great? Do I have any options at all please? Thank you. :)

You can get HDD DVRs for analogue TV, including twin-tuner ones. You will likely need to look on eBay as they're slightly out of date now. I formerly had a 300GB twin tuner Aldi unit - Targa branded I believe.

A DVD recorder would be another option but it looks very limited on where you can actually buy one right now that supports analogue.

Might be better for your parents to upgrade to a DVR box with UPC ,

might even work out cheaper. Check it out with the reps on the UPC forum there very helpful.
