    Hi,

Could anyone recommend a good Butchers in the Malahide or Ringsend / Sandymount area.

I'm not a fan of buying chicken or steak from Tesco etc... anymore. I was hoping to buy in bulk and then freeze it. Thanks in advance.

There's two good butchers in Portmarnock. Smyth's in the village and Higgins up at Dunnes are both great (I prefer Higgins fwiw).

There's a Kerrigans in Malahide village, but they have the tendency to sell pre-packaged stuff with sauces etc., in them that I'm not a fan of.

In Ringsend, you have Clyne's. They're behind the library near the Tesco Express.

Go to Claire hall shopping center (don't go into Tescos though:D) And there is a really good butchers up there, Protein packs are pretty decent and the steak is always good.

The Butcher Block? All of their stuff is pre-packed... may as well be in Tescos :-)

I just heard that a new butchers has opened in ringsend, opposite the church call Corrigans I think? Apparently he's very good and pretty good value too. Haven't been myself yet but will go during the week and see what it's like.
