Well the fact you don't like it means they're doing their job well. 2FM is aiming at a young audience with them and their show is fantastic. They're sounding brilliant right now and I could easily see them doing breakfast in a few years. 2FM needs more people like them. I'm guessing you listened for about 5 minutes, heard a few innuendos and smutty jokes and came to that conclusion.

Fair enough but they're only a month into the gig and I don't think one night's listening is indicative of the overall quality of the show. Shows have off days but then again, it might just not be your thing....

I loved them on iRadio, was distraught when they left only to be uplifted when they joined 2FM. No problems, they're just as good as they've always been. The only thing I don't like are Brian Lloyd's contributions.

They only started their 2fm show about 4 weeks ago ! way too soon to be moving around the schedule and whats worse is knowing 2fm robojock 2000 will be doing their slot.

I took it that the evening show is the show in the morning being repeated at night. But their evening show is three hours and tubs gig is only two hours. How's that work ?

    They're doing a taxi-man on it, i.e. double jobbing ;)

I really enjoy Chris and Ciara. Started listening to them on Iradio a while back and now on 2fm......... 1st time since G. Ryan passed on that I have listened to 2fm for any long period.

That they simply talk sh1te with no qualms makes the show enjoyable for me anyway........ hopefully they won't change the format too much.

It's a pity the music is so poor, the two of them are really good and the features they have are really good too. But the music, even compared to the ****e played during the daytime is incredibly generic.

Used to catch them a little on iRadio when I was in that area. Great to hear them on national airwaves, hope they do well. The music isn't my cup of tea but the lads put on a great how so it keeps me tuned in. I think the show is similar to what they did on iRadio. Were they off air for a while or was it a smooth transition to 2fm?

I don't listen to them often, but I do listen when I'm driving to Dublin late on a Sunday and their "dream analysis" segment is brilliant. Has me gripped straight away.

Two of them have great broadcast chemistry as well.

Heard these two on the radio a few weeks ago and enjoyed it, not really into the music they play so I went in search of a podcast, disappointed they only havd 4 or 5 minute highlight from every show, would definitely listen to the whole thing minus the music if it was available.

For some reason they have dropped the name of the show

    *bump*

So I caught a bit of this show last night for the first time (don't often flick from Tom Dunne at night on the rare occasions I'm listening to d'wireless this late... :P)

Was pleasantly surprised. The two seem to get on well together and it was fairly easy to listen to. Will definitely be giving it another go to see if it wasn't just a one off fluke. :)

Is Chris the same guy that does the YouTube videos like Tallafornia Swipe and Game of Mobile Homes?

A lad with a thick country accent and a connemara girl with a fake american twang talking pure ****e sounds like radio hell to me.

Excellent show. Have enjoyed it more and more since the start. What's with ciara and some listeners vitriole toward the galway player. He is clearly just a comedian taking the piss. Some of his jokes the last night were actually funny.
