Hi guys, I am going to renew the keel strap on the Orkney, so firstly where might one acquire a stainless version for it, and secondly is it a DIY job or should I outsource it, and if so where would be my first port of call, if you pardon the pun....thanks

You could try this guy I have used him before and he is very good http://www.eweengineering.com/ If you were going to DIY it you would need some very tough drill bits to drill and countersink it but it can be done, a local metal workshop should be able to source the stainless steal.

chances are you will have to fill all the old holes and drill new ones a friend put a new one on a fastliner a couple of weeks ago and the screws where a nightmare to get out. about a days work to do it yourself.
