Well done :) I got 63 in it and would have done better if not for that stupid marking scheme on the reading section.

I was pleasantly suprised with maths (paper 1 anyway) really thought I was in the low 40s so you probably did better than you think!

Thanks for the motivation, im just worried about maths, because in the other honours class in my year about 80% of the class failed and nobody got above 50%, really says something about the teacher :L

When did ye do your mocks? I did mine the two weeks before midterm and have not got any back yet

I started mine about the same time, did your teachers send yours away? If so maybe they're slow being delivered?

If you see the teacher, she is actually the biggest waste of space ever! In their christmas test, her results were so bad that 60 percent of the overall mark went towards their homework!

No problem hahaha most of mine class passed, but it was mainly Ds, definitely does almost all my year failed science, were in sh*t but no one would say a bad word about the teachers ugh and mine corrected all of ours scewways (giving me too many marks anyway)

Thanks! You too :) I'll probably get A's and B's and an odd D out haha (Religion)

7 A's was my reasonable goal for the JC . Hopefully! :p

Is religion hard? We don't do it in my school. (We're god-fearing like that)

Not really :D I just don't study for it . It's just it's completely useless and pointless(IMO) and has no relevance whatsoever to me now or in my future . I would much rather spend my time on a LC subject like maths or Irish than waste time on religion studying . Plus I'm atheist so I don't like learning about the Kingdom of God or how Islam was formed .

Yeah these kind of things happen. Just be grateful that it's only the mocks and in the actual jc someone else (hopefully fairer and better) will be marking your paper. 62% is still really good. Aim for that B :D

Exam papers are the way to go. The level of questions for maths in the textbook is nothing compared to the level in the exam papers. How did u do in the rest of ur subjects

Irish:63%:( (Omg so angry anyone have any advice to push to an A?!)

For Irish, learn off a story of something that happened to you or someone else (usually an acident). Practice letter writing on topics such as sport, the Internet, music, TV and a talent show. Have answers for the prós and the filíocht learned off (learn off answers for two poems and two short stories and know the different themes/feelings in each one). Also, make sure you know your tenses and irregular verbs.

Well done for getting 85% in Maths! :)

Thanks so much!! You don't know how much you've helped. Any idea how to improve on the unseen comprehension/ poetry and listening. Thanks again:D

For the listening, pratice as much as you can. I haven't got my Irish mock results yet, but I think I probably lost my A because of the unseen things. I haven't done much of then yet, but my teacher will most likely go through them soon. I think you have to pratice them a lot as well.

    CSPE-B
    History- A
    Science-A
    Music-B
    Geography-B
    Maths-D (:()

Thats all my results in the mocks. Quite frankly, im very disappointed as my results were terrible, especially maths. I want to continue with higher, but im afraid I might fail. All my teachers (Except my French and English and Geography) are diobolical, and i'm seriously considering moving schools. Does anyone have any advice for me?

Those grades are great!! And most of my class got a D in maths you can move up to a C maybe even a B with the work! There is absolutely no point moving schools, start studying asap and you'll be find :)
