Getting enough protein in my diet without protein shakes...

My question is how do I go about this? I eat 3-4 eggs, a chicken breast and a chocolate milkshake a day and this is about 110g. Where can I get the extra 50 or 60 g that I need while minimising calories?

Cottage cheese is great, I think the lidl low fat one is 59cent, 22g protein and around 200 cals

Never tried cottage cheese before, what do you eat it with?

Was never a fan of cottage cheese myself. Any particular reason you won't use shakes?

Not really, just an experiment. I have used them before and will again.

Ah fair enough. I find the best way to get more protein in is to just up all my meat intake. If you usually have one chicken breast with dinner have two. 150g of mince. Up to 250g etc. On a bulk I was getting in between 250g and 300g of protein eating a lot of meat. I think I'd take in one shake with 25g protein during the day aswell because calories.

I usually eat straight from the tub but some don't like the texture/bland taste of cottage cheese on it's own. Throw it on the plate with chicken breast add a bit of pepper for taste and it's grand too.

Its nice with tuna. Tastes just like tuna mayo. Add some hot sauce for a kick as well.

Personally, I'd drop the milkshake which would free up enough calories to fit in another couple of chicken breasts or whatever else meat of your choice.

Eat more meat. Eat tuna for lunch and x2 chicken breasts for dinner, for example.

Tuna or tinned mackerel at lunch, larger portions of steak or more chicken breasts for dinner. Eggs for breakfast.

I like a snack of 100g Lidl "Goldessa" cottage cheese in a bowl with just a little of the Lidl knockoff Ballymaloe relish - just half a teaspoon.
    It's delicious - and 103 calories, 13g protein.

Packets of that thinly sliced roast beef in lidl. Powerfull stuff only ~140 cals and 26.5g of protein

You said you didnt want to use shakes. Protein water would just be an expensive type of shake.
