There is no such thing as a Saorview/FreeSat box as yet. FreeSat is a brand name for a UK EPG system which gives you 7 day EPG and a few other extras. Free-To-Air (FTA) satellite boxes use the same satellite signals but don't have the 7 day EPG.
The only simple combo box for both Saorview and FTA satellite with 7 day EPG on both is a Walker box. However there are many threads here from people having problems with them.
Other more powerful and sophisticated boxes are available such as the Amiko Alien 2. These are quite technical to setup and have a steep learning curve but are well worth the effort in the end.

    . . . im not that technical

That last part probably rules out the more customisable receivers, such as the Alien or Vu+, although I don't have 1st hand experience of them myself.

If you're coming from Sky or UPC, you will be disappointed with the off-the-shelf receivers that cater for Irish & UK channels in 1 box. You'd be better off with separate Freesat & Saorview boxes.

There are NO Freesat/Saorview combis. The channels available on Freesat are freely available to any box with a satellite tuner but, not all such boxes are Freesat boxes. Freesat is basically just an EPG &, a postcode database to ensure UK viewers get only the correct regional versions of BBC & ITV, rather than scan them all in & have to delete those you don't want. Also 'red button' services actually accessible via the red button (no big deal, as they can be tuned in as separate channels on any satellite receiver) & automatic updates when channels are added or move to a different frequency.
