If you could stay one age for the rest of your life which age would you choose?

I would have to say somewhere in the mid 20s, hate the thought of growing old and dying, yet i guess one has to experience all ages of life, had this thought thrown at me at work earlier and keep thinking about it.

25, I'm only 17 now. But I feel all the people my age are usually either weirdos or judgmental. 25 seems like a nice age where I'll still be young, but normal people are open to different things. I personally like classic rock music, and I swear to god, every person my age who also likes classic rock is a greasy weirdo who doesn't wash.

I wouldn't want to stay any age. Life is a journey, it can be rocky or smooth, long or short, direct or with multiple connections, but it is a journey we all must make.

People are still weird and judgemental at 25 - moreso than they were at 17

1 - I'd be permanently cute and pretty and adored and have everything in life done for me.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

I'm turning 30 in 3 weeks and I'm dreading it!

    28. You're old enough to be treated as an adult by everyone but not old enough to have the effects of aging take it's toll on you plus you're young enough to stay fit and healthy easily.

Soooo weird I was only thinking about this while I was lying awake at 5am!

30 I think, that's when I felt my most confident. Although 29 was pretty good just that I panicked about becoming 30 which I never thought I would do and which is ironic really considering I loved myself most then.

It's not that bad. late twenties/early thirties are fun. I was a feckless idiot in my 20's, still trying to get to grips with being an adult. Once you settle into it though it's grand. 40's are terrifying me though.

I'm going to raise the bar from the 28/29 everyone's saying to go for 30/31. It's not a bad age.

In gonna say 52. I wouldn't be that old, but I'll have learnt alot by then and mastered numerous hobbies. I still look very young for the age I am so I'm hoping I'll have a bit of Clooney about me.

People will be shocked when I tell them my age and I'll be that gent who can pull younger (30's - plenty of experience) women.

I'll have built a successful career and business. Cruises are my holiday of choice and I can afford them when I want.

    That's the dream. :)

You know those oul ones who can say and do whatever they want, and nobody challenges them because of their age? I pick whatever age that starts at.

Embrace 30, it's the last milestone birthday you'll enjoy. I think 39 was my worst year ever, I was dreading turning 40, I know it's sad but I was actually glad to turn 41 this year, so I could stop being 40:D

You can pull that off at most ages if you play your cards right! :D

I've found that whatever age I find myself at the time is grand. There's no need to be afraid of the 40s, though - I'm 42 and it's great. No-one under 30 takes a blind bit of notice of me, and that's fine, the Universe tends to return the compliment to them. And everyone over thirty listens to what I say, no matter how dumb/satirical/alcohol-inspired it might be! :pac::pac::pac:

Why? Do you think your body knows you're turning 30 (age being a man-made creation) and bits start falling off? Nothing happens. You will feel and look exactly the same as you do now. :) The 30s are great in a different way! You'll see!

I don't care about my age, I care about my health, skin, teeth and hair. So long as I remain looking hot then I don't care.

    26. I'm fit, healthy and looking pretty good. I presume it's a slow, steady decline from here on out.

tbh you'd really want to ask someone in their 70's this as they'd have experienced all the useful ages of humanity

like.. i'd probably say 26 now as I'm 30, but by the time I hit 60 I might have had ****ing unbelievable 40's and would change my answer

plus I think there have been a few studies done asking senior citizens to rate their favourite decades in life and it's more or less always in descending order with 20's and teens taking up the last places

people change and improve as they age, being a smart arsed mid twenties git would probably get kinda dull after a while.

Nope it's a rapid free wheeling decline after that, my advice to you is to hide under the duvet, do it now there's still time

I'd say this is the correct answer tbh.

28-30ish, young enough to still have fun, old enough to appreciate it. I'm 29 now and things are going pretty well. :)

30 is the perfect cusp age.

In your 20s you're broke, annoying and self absorbed but look good. In your 40s your head is more together, you've got a bit more money but your looks are in decline.

30 is the age where they all briefly overlap.

One of the lads that sub contracts with us said earlier mid 40s is the best age, he said the only problem was it takes a little longer to get it up but it stays up longer then. :)

28 was a great age for me as I was galavanting around a continent on my own getting up to all kinds of mischief ;). I was still able to turn the eye of the odd suitor and hangovers didn't lead to a day of existential crises, misanthropy and self-loathing (although there's a good chance I wasn't sober for the whole year, so never actually had one). I was very happy that year for obvious reasons.

    30 - 31

When you're in your twenties nobody takes you seriously. Plus all your studies etc are behind you, you've finally got a decent income. The world is your Oyster :pac: unless you get sprogged up, then maybe your twenties would look a whole lot more appealing :P

    30.

young enough to still get into 19 year olds, old enough to have gained all life experience needed including mid life crises which most feel in 30's
comfortable enough in your own shoes and personality and who you are cause if you havent figured it out by then youre in trouble, in trouble being large amounts of alcohol being bitter and blaming everyone else for why your life is **** or didnt work out.

so yeah 30, perfect. enough maturity to survive the rest of your time, and young enough to spread those genes around still to those young loins. its basically your prime, or at least the intersection of emotional prime, physical prime and general health prime
