Thursday night and no thread yet so I'll get the ball rolling. Yes Suarez will win it and I'm probably wasting my time but there are other fixtures which in theory could yield dividends so I'll throw up the poll anyway.

I'm hoping that a few people are reaching this point and also that Suarez is finally going to get the big score that is brewing this last few weeks. He could have scored a couple in each of his last few 'quiet' games.

That's it exactly. Suarez has been close to big scores. It's tempting to go with Studge but, as per a point previously made, he rarely delivers the big scores Suarez is capable of.

The other factor for me is that I'm in "safe" mode. I'm ahead in all the leagues I need to be so its just a matter of staying there now.

Suarez - not arsed if he performs or not, although happy if he outscores Sturridge (who I also have). Looking at holding on to my current league position so playing it safe for the next few weeks. My gamble on Hazard a few weeks ago worked but won't be taking that risk again!

Likewise, i'm top of my league now so need to play it safe. Tempted by Sturridge though but the fear of a big Suarez haul is holds a big sway on me as most will captain Suarez.

I'm 30 pts off the lead in one league (50 points covering top 10) and 120 off the lead in another, but only 30 off the paid places. Do I play safe with Suarez or punt with either RVP or Dzeko, bearing in mind I'll probably only field 8 max in gw 29? Really tempted to take a flyer on Dzeko

Can't you reduce teh gap with the rest of your team (I mean captain excluded)?. I feel it is still early stages to gamble on (C) for 30 pts "only"...

5 currently scheduled to play gw 29, 3 transfers between now and then. I suppose it can be managed without left field captain choices. Thanks. I reckon I'll be needing to punt soon though no need for panic measures yet.:)

Giving Suarez another go. I just have this feeling that he *will* get back to scoring. I'm somewhat desperately hoping it's this week. It hasn't really mattered prior to now, but last week it did kinda hurt my (crap) score.
