You tend not top notice stuff your not looking for. I never noticed how many S80's are on the road till I got one.

Theres a couple of Avantimes and Koleos' knocking around Dublin. Theres one (Avantime) up Lucan way.

Citroen c6, would love be to see one in the flesh they look pretty sweet. Can't beat citroen hydropneumatic suspension for comfort either.

    Citroen c6

At a glance they look very similar to the C5 so I'd say a few people have seen them without realising. I see one regularly enough around the place.

Is there even a dealer selling them? You'd really have to want to buy one to end up in one.

An orange one frequents the local halfords in Navan. There was an orange one (they all seem to be orange?) in Kilcock, had a load of personal info in it

I had a silver fiat idea. It was 1.3 litre diesel. I bought it in 2009 for €3700. Got rid of it after a year or so. Recently saw the car on carzone listed for nearly €5000.

As in , I didn't even know they had dealers nevermind where they are or see any on the road. It would take a fair bit to steer you away from a mainstream car to actually go looking to buy one.

We nearly bought one new a few years back. Went to look and test drive but ended up buying the Scenic we have now.

Not one car listed here I haven't seen.

Has anyone seen the 82 Metro Tickford in Carlow? Now that's rare.....

Never seen it driving around but they did have in a special display window on the first floor of the Garage, Cunningham Higgins in Ballybrit. Used to dirve past there a few times and you could see it from the road.

Think they're closed down now. Bought my car from them 5 or 6 years ago. Used to be a Mercedes dealership.

Its existed alright. There was also another one that frequented Foxrock, I was behind it one night and only the lights gave it away. There are a few in Irish hands, most are on UK or foreign plates though.

Seen a few around donnybrook and there is one parked in a Pug garage at Merrion Gates.

The government did a deal in 2011 to buy some. Obviously nobody in their right minds would have bought them.

Could've been the identical Peugeot iOn?

I've seen the Mirsubishi version with ESB stickers on it and the Pug had no stickers at all. It was parked up the back of the garage, didn't look like it was being used.

I've seen a number of C6s and Avantimes around Dublin including a C6 Taxi.
Have yet to see a new Mercedes G-Wagon.
I've never seen a Cadillac BLS in Ireland

There aren't any Cadillac dealers though.

There was a BLS around at one stage. I can confirm a lovely G-Wagon is being used as a family car in South Dublin as it passes me daily.

I think they were all private imports from the UK. Same way Dodge Avengers got here.

If I remeber correctly a Jaguar dealership in south Dublin sold them. I *may have visited them to see a CTS :p

Jesus Christ. Although I must admit I thought about it too until I got to see one in the fresh and sit in it. It made a Chrysler Sebring look good. THATS how bad it was.

There's one of these knocking around Rathfarnham, nice bluey-green colour, looks like a nice car.

Have also seen a white Great Wall SUV around Milltown a few times.

    Any 2014 Alfa :p

I'm trying! Have a customer waiting on an order form from me to order one, but I need confirmation from Alfa that the car they have there, in stock, with my name on it, is non-metallic. Been chasing that info since 09.00 on Monday morning, and haven't had an answer yet.

Seems like it's not just people not buying Alfa's, but Alfa reticent to sell the damn things.
    colm_mcm wrote: »

Drove the Citroen version. Had to put the windows down and make revving noises to get people out of the way in the car park so I could drive off :o

The Renault Clio V6 - used to see one going through Dunshaughlin in orange but haven't seen one in use or for sale in years.

Oh and a video of pure savage noise supercharged version - skip to 2:00 ;)

They're a gorgeous car in reality. Stereotypical Citroen coolness of old.

However, I've only ever seen two of them and both are Taxis :(

One I see frequently enough in Edenderry and the other I saw driving through Dundrum the other day.
