    Hi Everyone,

Im moving to Belgooley in Cork, and was thinking what broadband provider should i use, options are Eircom, Vodafone, and Sky.

I know they all use phonelines but would like to know which one is the best in regards to performance, costs and reliability.

Am thinking of joining with SKY as I have sky digital already and might as well get a bundle out of it. Anyone with any feedback would really be appreciated.

    Sam

Sky may not have their own equipment in that town. You will need to pay an extra €10 monthly if they don't.
I'd imagine they'll all be the same.

Hmmm I guess that I might go with Vodafone, how are they with "file sharing"? :P

Ask them if they will guarantee you a decent speed in the evenings, or check what others may be getting here:

I recently 'upgraded' my Vodafone package, but it is a disaster, getting only 1mbs in the evenings, was getting 5/6mbs before I upgraded!!

Customer service should also be taken into consideration, apparently it will take 3 days to get a response to an email to support, you can ring them (if you have plenty of time to hold) or try their 'Talk To' forum on boards ( http://www.boards.ie/ttforum/1270 ).
