    Looking to change from using a Whey Protein product to a Plant based protein product.

    Plant Protien product recommendations please....cheers

    The sun warrior range is plant based. Warrior blend is the one I use. Expensive though.

    I tried pea protein. Mank. Anything I put it into ended up tasting like weird pea mush. It's also apparently not a very high quality protein so I'd suggest you avoid that one :pac:

    Could someone please post a reference for the statement that pea protein is not high quality?

    I use it. Not that I've got anything against whey protein, I just started using pea protein and continued on. If whey is better for whatever reason then I would switch over.

    I use pea protein, tastes horrible so you'll have to add a bunch of other stuff to be able to drink it. Not sure where Zillah is getting his/her info from though, pea protein seems to come highly recommended when i was researching it.

    Pea protein is only 65% bio-available, compared to whey or eggs which are about 100%. So you basically need to eat +50% the quantity to get the same amount of protein out of it.

    I think whey is rated higher than eggs, around 20% more but can be higher depending on the quality.
