I have injured my foot playing football. I can put weight on it its just a bit sore and I have a bit of a limp. But i will go crazy without the gym

should i just go and do upper body? or do i need complete rest?

anyone been in a similar situation?

Have you seen someone about the injury?

    If not, do.

Ive trained around an injury (different in that it was stitches in my knee so easy to work around) so it can be done, but tbh, you need real world advice on how best to train without aggravating whats wrong.

I done upper body work with a broken leg. Some lower too. But it's the only time I've ever consulted professional help for advice on how to train with a lower body injury so not to aggravate it. Or to not injure elsewhere in case I sacrificed form to compensate for the cast.

I suppose you could just use the machines without much consequence. But if it's more than a little knock you're best seeking professional advice.

    First, get it checked out.

Second, I'd imagine upper-body work is fine unless specifically told not to.
