on the plus side my brother has been clean for 2 years.No methadone,nothing.He's 37 and has been on gear since he was 17.Spent the guts of 20 years in and out of prison.

You could sing that song about drinking and gambling. The drug/pastime isnt the problem. 90% of people who take heroin to try it walk away. Theres about 10% addicts, they will get addicted to anything.

Yeah, its a demon that takes away the people you love. I have one friend who fought back and escaped it but at least one other who didnt.

Tragic thing is my bro wasn't a heroin addict he would do it once in a blue moon but had been abusing valium and added it and bye bye, accidental overdose from the additive effects of sedatives and narcotics was the official post mortem

Bottom line is abusing drugs are like playing a game of Russian roulette
