have this old atari lynx display from waaaaaaaaaay way back.

got the lynx off santa and was the last unit in the shop, my dad asked could we have the store display and they let us take it. its in decent nick just needs a clean.

is this collectable? worth anything? its plastic except the red part that the actual lynx would have sat on, thats wood i think.

    cant find another one online.

    cheers dudes.

I'd say definitely collectible alright, store demo/kiosk stuff does indeed come up from time to time. As to it's value, that's the hard bit...I wouldn't think terribly much, but what do I know, I haven't even got a Lynx :o

    That's really cool :)

Not sure of value, I've never seen one before. Displays for Nintendo gear are the most valuable. The Atari lynx collector scene would be a lot smaller. (and things tend to be less valuable)

Best way of figure out it's worth is to stick it up on ebay at a low starting bid and see what it ends on.

Definitely a good idea. It could be unique to Ireland from the Atari plant here, who knows. Lovely piece anyway, I'm sure there's someone out there who'd buy it.
