Hey, Just looking for some help. Im coming towards the end of third year in my degree (Mechanical Engineering) Im looking for summer work experience in engineering preferably in the bio-medical sector. I've applied to the main places such as Boston scientific and Merit medical. So my question is can people help suggest more companies in any sector to apply too that i may not have thought of?
    Thanks!

Since you mention Boston and Merit, I presume you're in Galway. There are a few other companies there you should try: Medtronic in Parkmore, Covidien in Mervue & Lake Region Medical. Also try Caragh Precision in Parkmore. Most of their work is for medical device companies.

ya google, some sites have applications

    try these

    stryker in carrigtohill

depuy, jansen in ringaskiddy ( prob 6 more down there)

prob a few in eastgate little island, worth aul spin note the companies who look like engineers (half of eastgate) then google em

career section on college sites are very good, also worth calling into careers adviser to fix your cv, try cit, ucc and all the mech related colleges website and click careers, after you try all the boi-med, try all the similar related ones like pharma plants and process plants
