    Baines (Seriously)

    Sturridge
Boring Suarez after my massive one point RvP(c) differential last GW.

Apologies for not including him there, I learned not to captain defender, ever. Even if it is Baines.

I'm going for Suarez, even though my gut feeling is Sturridge.

I can't see Hazard repeating what he did on Saturday, so I'm going to go with Suarez.

I do see Hazard getting plenty of bandwagon jumpers this week, meaning that for once Suarez could be a differential!

He actually did it 3 times this season - GW7&8, 11&12, 18&19 with a quite good score in GW14. Also gad a goal and an assist against WBA. But if we compare it with Suarez...
Suarez should start getting some extra points, playing against Fulham he has a good chance. Said the same last weeek about RVP, but Liverpool likes to score this season.

Suarez will still be captained by 80% of active managers.

They call him Leighton 'never captain never bench' Baines over on FFScout. He can get big hauls, he can also get you 1 point as well. Risky.

    Dzeko
The RVP love didn't last, half tempted to do a cheeky one on him.

Will more than likely be Hazard or Sturridge though.

Well I mean it could work out, or he may not even play. It's a risk I wouldn't be taking when Suarez plays Fulham.

I'm in the same boat. I have both but my reasoning is : most of my opponents don't have both of them, so if sturridge has a monster, i'll still gain ground if i captain suarez. If suarez has a monster and i don't captain him, then im bolloxed.

So suarez it is. Hes due a big haul as well.

If I had a wildcard this week, Barkley wouldn't even be in my team, thats how I feel about it.

My gut is saying Sturridge too but have just gained a nice lead in my money league and don't want to take any risks especially as the guy behind me will most likely captain Suarez. I think the choice this week comes down to where you are in your leagues - if you're behind take a risk but if you're ahead play it safe.

Nolan couldn't have another goalscoring gameweek for WHU could he? COULD HE?

Differential city if you captained in and he banged in another two in 180 seconds.

Probably Sturridge, it's either going to be him or Suarez. Tempted by Ade as well though could see him nabbing a few against Newcastle.

Eriksen can go ahead and have another <60 minute 1 point cameo. Anyone know why he isn't getting the full 90?

I agree. Suarez was unlucky against Arsenal not to get at least one other goal from his own good work (e.g. the flick and volley that hit the post).

There were also a couple of occasions when Sterling and I think maybe Sturridge could have played the ball to him but were greedy.

Sturridge missed a sitter which would have been a Suarez assist as well.

Another big haul has to be near.

Gotta laugh at how RVP is polling. He was joint top choice for captain on here 4 days ago, then scored, and is now playing against a former team who just lost 5-1.

And he has 1 vote for captain. :pac:

This is a Suarez week though. There are weeks where it is nuts to do anything other than captain Suarez, this is definitely one of those.

Suarez probably as a blocker choice.

Getting wary though as everyone expects him and Sturridge to get monster scores... I know Fulham are sh*te but...

I hope Suarez and Sturridge both get 10+, and a 6 or 7 for Hazard will do.

Double figure points for all 3 (and Yaya, Silva, Lallana and Dzeko) for me. I'd expect all my rivals to captain Suarez.

I still don't like the idea of having C and VC in the same game. Suarez is a cert to play, and if he wasn't to play chances are it would be because some disaster had struck leading to the game being called off.

Like you say, whilst the game is going ahead, he is a cert to play unless he gets a freak injury or bites someone, so the VC does not really mater. If any of the above happens then Sturridge steps in. If there was a chance the game was not going ahead, then the VC would be given to Yaya.

Although just realised the game is tomorrow, but pretty confident of no problems at this stage.

Quite a valid point though, somethimg to think about over the next couple of hours.

I wasn't referring to injuries to Suarez as such, more issues with the game going ahead, and not just for this game, I'm like this all the time.

I never pick a captain who I'm not fairly certain will start so it's rarely an issue, but it leaves me somewhat prepared for disaster striking.

Called hazard last weekend and am calling benteke tonight. Cardiff poor and villa are a team set up to play away from home.

Kind of for that reason I think I have decided to give the VC back to Yaya. If match was tonight I wouldn't change, but as tomorrow night, its a bit of a risk.

Silva would be a good option imo, but in a game where Suarez could very possibly get a big score it's too much of a risk for me. He's my VC.

Can never bring myself to captain types like Silva, Ozil, Mata. Too unselfish at times, dont sense big scores from them although all can occasionally deliver them.

    Pool striker is a no-brainer
