new phone socket

I'm trying to get a 2nd phone socket working but am having a few problems. Looking at the Eircome socket, eircom's line comes in an is attached to l1 and l2. The extension line bw and wb is then connected to a seperate l1 and l2 inside this master socket. The 2nd socket looks like this…

What colours should I connect to in this socket? Tried red/green and lots of combos but got nothing.

My bad. I had the master phone socket open and of course since the socket part wasn't plugged in I had no dial tone.
