What do you mean by "ocean use"?

Esturies can be tricky places to operate a boat with tides and currents. A stable boat with a bit of power and some training would be my priorities. Look at Orkneys, shetland, O'Sullivan or Dell Quay. Alternatively something like a rib might suit. Depends on what you want out of the boat.

What's his budget, where's he going to keep it (on a trailer, a marina etc.) and what's he want to use it for?
