Oh yeah. RVP will consistently score, but I just couldn't spend so much money on him. Instead, I'll spend it on Dzeko and Benteke. (;)) No, but seriously, for that price he'd want to scoring more than one per game. Which may well happen if Utd ever cop on to themselves.

If you can afford him RVP will get you points. Leave aside the hysteria about Uniteds fall from grace and failure to qualify for the Champs Lge and how terrible their results are EPL wise RVPs FPL returns since he came back from injury are 8, 7 & 6. Matas are 6, 7&5.

This is a stats game. United are useless at the back but can score against anyone.

Have scraped up to 58 after that game. Probably go back to around my position at start of weekend. Disappointed cos I'd hope rvp would help me gain ground

Exactly the same, 58 as well, with RVP (C) and Mata today. Would have been a complete disaster if not for that goal

63 points with bps for Ade and Mata to come. Considering Terry missed the GW and not one of my 4 defensive players kept a clean sheet, I'm delighted with that.

I have a transfer saved as well. Hoping that Yaya will somehow escape a ban because I need to work Bruce out of my team and want to save a transfer until we see what teams will actually miss GW29.

Could have been a missive day for me with Ade, Mata & RVP (c). Looking at 27 points from the trio but I was counting chickens and had RVP scoring close to that himself.....

Will end up on a pretty miserable 51 points it looks like. Still should be pleased enough with that I guess seeing as I was on 35 with about 15 mins left in the Utd game.

All that hilarity has really cheered me up, which was badly needed after yet another misjudged points hit.

Finished on 44 (-8). Had I just ignored my team this week I'd be 12 points better off than I am :eek::cool:

My big regret is selling Adebayor. I'm fairly certain I'll only end up buying him back.

More than happy with that result today despite not having Mata or RVP. United are brutal. You'll pick up some points with them but far better value around imo.

81 points for the week. One of my shrewdest decisions of the season to captain Hazard paid off and I'm starting to climb the rankings bit by bit. Will have to think about the coming weeks ahead and what is the best strategy regarding transfers.
