    Morning all.

Over the last year or so, I've been steadily reducing my weight. I've dropped from 97kg to 85kg and I'm feeling pretty good at this stage. This was done by changing my diet and playing 5 a side once or twice a week.

The weight has stalled over the last few weeks (which I suppose is good in a way) but I'd like to move on to the next stage ie. training.

And that's where I'm stuck. Haven't really got the finances at the minute for joining a posh gym, and even if I did, I wouldn't know where to start. Also, a lot of those guys are pretty huge and fair intimidating!

I'm thinking about maybe starting doing something at home, unless someone knows of any cheap places around Cork? Again though I don't know where to start.

So does anyone have any suggestions about what's the best way to get started at home? All I have is a pair of dumbells!

reduce your diet, youre smaller now than when you started. Youll probably need less food to continue losing weight.
Diet will affect weight loss more than training.

look up bodyweight exercises if you dont want to go to a gym. a lot can be done with no equipment, or maybe a pull up bar.

    What weight are the Dumbbells?

    Chest: Pushups, Dumbbell floor press
Shoulders: Dumbbell shoulder press, Side raises, Front raises, Reverse flys
Back: Dumbbell rows, shrugs, possibly chinups if you get a chin up bar
    Legs: Air squats, Air Lunges,
    Core: Plank
    Biceps: Dumbbell curls
    Triceps: skull crushers

I would suggest a Kettlebell, decent skipping rope and maybe an ab mat, pull up bar and a resistance band if you can stretch to those too, really all you need, kettlebell being the most important, great and versatile tool and you'd be surprised the results
    You can get with them.
Can all be bought from d8 fitness, fairly cheaply.
Have a look on here for excellent routines with these and Bodyweight stuff.. http://www.dominicmunnelly.ie/
