    Hi,

    I'm trying to lose fat to get visible abs. What's the best way to do this while minimising muscle loss?

    Keep lifting heavy while going on a smaller calorie deficit. Drop 300 calories lower than maintenance and stick at that. It will take a long time though, 4 or 5 months maybe.

    Dont forget to re calculate your maintenance every so often.

    Keep lifting heavy. Make sure you are getting enough protein. Reduce overall calories.
