i'm rushing it up this year as i need the current p60 for med card etc.

i received a 'self-assessment letter' ???on the revenue record online just outlining the details of the tax return

I fear you maybe a bit confused.

A P60 is a certificate issued by your employer detailing gross pay tax deducted ect.

A Form 11 is an income tax return.

You put the details from the P60 on the Form11 together with details of other income and deductions like medical expenses.

    sorry yes:)

i should have said 'notice of assessment'

instead of the usual 'notice of assessment' on my revenue record i have received a 'self assessment letter' outlining the details of the tax return

i'm not sure if i can use this as proof of my tax and income details for medical card etc.??

I can answer my own question

Revenue are no longer issuing notices of assessment from 2014

Its a pity the other agencies who are still demanding the notice aren't up to speed on this
