job seekers allowance

    HI, my husband and I are both looking for work. He is claiming Job Seekers Allowance and he get extra money for me and our 2 children. My question is - as I am looking for work as well would we get more money if we both claimed individually rather than only him claiming and getting an allowance for me as a dependent.

    Thanks if anyone can help me clarify this.
