Yesterday, I tripped and fell, face first, but taking the impact on my bent right arm. Today, it is a bit strange. Pain obviously. Pain in shoulder, elbow and wrist at times. Strong pain if I turn my hand to face palm-up? Pain lifting things.
There is no significant constant pain. I have in my time, broken a collar bone and an elbow (prone to injury obviously!) but there is nothing like the level of pain of those injuries. Would it be torn ligaments or something in this case? No bruising or swelling. A lot of heat from neck right down through arm, but nothing else.

an xray!!!!!!!!!! lol why didn't I think of that???????? I'm just looking for reassurance that there is not a thing wrong with me and to take 2 paracetamol. Hoping someone else had similar symptoms and no treatment necessary.

Ah right - didn't know that about medical advice (not really what I was looking for anyway). Was just hoping someone had same thing and sought medical advice but turned out they needed no treatment.
    Thanks for replies.

Go see your GP for a referral for an xray.

Without seeing the arm and minus my x-ray superpowers, I can't tell.

So going to get an x-ray would be the next best thing.

    Indeed.

I've broken collar bone, elbow and a bone in my wrist. Wrist is the only one where I was wandering around for a few weeks wondering, is it broken, is it not. The others are more obvious. Get an x-ray. Spare yourself A&E if you have the cash, and go to one of the private xray places. No queuing, in and out in half an hour.

Euromedic or one of those places. x-ray is about 65-80 quid I think. A&E is 50 anyway, so it's not a whole pile of difference.

Really really could do without 5 hours in A & f'n E. Thanks for all your advice. Will sit it out. Genuinely not in enough pain to land in A&E.

As mentioned above, medical advice is not allowed.
