    Right, back on the bike....
    I reckon we'll bash these 1-4.

    Hugo

    Walker-Daws-Roma- Jan.

    Lennon(get your finger out)..Bentaleb- Erikson - Siggy.

    Ade - Bobby.

Mousa was injured i presume at HT because he was doing very well when in possession.
Shane Long, who i wouldve liking at WHL believe it or not will score tomorrow too!

That centre midfield is a little lightweight. Eriksen on the left and Sandro in the middle maybe?

Also, will Rose's red card not be overturned in time for tomorrow?

Your man Bradley from Norwich had his midweek one overturned last night.

Sandro in, Erickson on the Left, Siggy out.

Don't mean to be pedantic but he's not Roma he's Romanian, he probably wouldn't like you calling him that :o

Line-up looks ok, i'd prefer Eriksen further up and Paulinho in the centre (If Fit), does anyone know how long Dembele is expected to be out for

I'm sure he's been called worse, we could call him 'The drunk' ?

    Quote from FB...
The FA have confirmed that our appeal against Danny Rose's red card has been successful and he is available for tomorrow's game at Hull.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,747 ✭✭✭irishmover

Kenneth McEvoy in the squad for tomorrow.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,057 ✭✭✭tippspur

    Lloris
    Walker Verts Vlad Rose
    Lennon Sandro Paulie Eriksen
    Soldado Adebeyor

Sandro holding while Paulie goes forward.
I'd kick out Lennon if Lamela was available.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,747 ✭✭✭irishmover

Lamela isn't available from what I've seen.

I dont think well see Lamela again this season. Seems to have disappeared altogether. Is he still injured???? Its that stage of the season where your big players stand up and be counted...

He's down as injured. Didn't Sherwood say he's not too far away from recovery? But not as close as Vertonghen, Sandro and Paulinho?

Spurs -1 @ 3/1! Money in the bank;)

I know Lamela is not fit but I thought Sandro and Paulinho have been seen training for the past couple of weeks?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,057 ✭✭✭tippspur

    FROM THE OFFICIAL SITE.

Younes Kaboul, Paulinho and Jan Vertonghen are back in the squad to face Hull on Saturday.

All three players have been training for over a week now and all three have played in private friendlies against West Ham and QPR.

Younes (thigh) last appeared at City on November 24, Jan (ankle) has been out since the win at Fulham on December 4 while Paulinho (ankle) picked up an injury against Stoke on December 28.

"Paulinho was a real eye-opener in that game," said Head Coach, Tim Sherwood. "I was was impressed that day and he's back in contention."

Erik Lamela (thigh) and Andros Townsend (hamstring) remain sidelined. "They are not ready yet but getting closer every day," added Tim.

    No sign of Sandro :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,019 ✭✭✭davycc

great play by eriksen unlucky not to score after that blistering run:cool:..need more of that on the 2nd half please and get lennon off.for an experienced player he looks like he just does not know what to do with the ball far too often:(

What a soft soft goal to give away. Dawson and lennon have been muck. Utter muck.

We need to get running at them. If lennon stays on then leave him on the touchline and get some crosses in.

Theres a goal for paulinho in this. two or three times hes made great runs into the boxed having lost his marker but the ball to him has been poor

    COYS

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,393 ✭✭✭MonkieSocks

We aren't playing as a team.

Soldado is clearly a striker lacking in confidence, he just needs a goal to get him going.

    Where is Lennon?

Our back four are always too far away from each other, if we were playing Man.City today like that. we would be already dead and buried.

Hopefully Hull will run out of steam in the second half and we can nick a few goals

    Agree with all of that.

Soldado is making bad decisions brought on by low confidence. He's too desperate to score, if you know what I mean.

Seriously. I know he's low on confidence but his work rate is cat.not running channels, not shooting with that chance. Like someone said, it's February, he needs to get his finger out big time and he's not the only 1

The immunity for Soldado is unbareable at this stage.

Walker? Are you nuts! An under 10 wouldn't do that!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,019 ✭✭✭davycc

These Hull players are absolutely flying in with tackles. Gonna get our players injured before this game is over.

I think Meyler is luck to not be sent off. Terrible tackle and no yellow. Ridiculous.
