Trying to find a temperature monitor program

Years ago I had a small utility installed that was basically an overlay showing the temperatures of the my CPU and GPU and HDD. It also showed HDD space and other things.

Can anyone suggest a few. I have HW monitor which is fine but I want something that will always sit on top regardless of what program is running.

Coretemp is basic but works well.

I don't think that was it. The program i'm looking for might actually be discontinued.

It was really customizable and lots of skins could be downloaded...

grr, my google skills are letting me down here...

hmm. close but no that's not it. I'd recognise it immediately if I heard the name.

Actually, ye know what. Rainmeter looks just as good. And it also gave me better keywords to search, "Desktop customization tool".

Samurize is pretty much end of life, no development on it any more, last news from 2011. Most people have moved to Rainmeter. Needs CoreTemp to monitor temperature

EDIT: Also works with SpeedFan

Yep. Looks like its development has stopped.

Tried rainmaker there and it seems a bit finnicky. I need to create .ini files to display the other HDDs on my PC.

I was looking for CPU temp monitors a while back, for the benefit of anybody searching the forum I thought I'd list them here. Some of them didn't work on some (older) CPUs.
