    The ones using that notation are super-sets. So its not rest-pause.

    I read it that you go A1, A2, A1... for 6 minutes on week one, then 8 mins week 2 and so on. It's 5 reps at a ten rep max, and the pairs are unrelated, you'll need little rest.

    It's a silly way to note it imo. Just do 3 sets in week 1, and add a set each week.
