am I taking enough creatine?

    I am trying to add some mass. Diet is fairly in check and protein intake too

    just on creatine - is 15g daily enough?
    pre gym - 5g
    post 10g

    I weigh 85kgs

    oops sorry.

    yes every day for 8 weeks

    plus have red meat in diet at least 3 times a week

    That is a crazy amount!

    3-5 grams a day, no need to load.

    If you're loading, which only lasts 5-7 days, then you would be fine with that.

    After that it's usually maintenance when you wouldn't be talking more than 5g.

    25 grams daily would be more like it.

    ah ok directions say
    1.5 x 5g scoops : 1-2 times daily

    7.5g x 2 = 15g

    after 8 weeks take one week of

    Old news. Current research indicates that we should take .3grams per kg.

    If you're loading, which only lasts 5-7 days, then you would be fine with that.

    After that it's usually maintenance when you wouldn't be talking more than 5g.
    Link on a recent thread stating to the effect that '5g' per day is pulled completely out of thin air with no reference to body weight. Anybody remember the thread in quesiton?

    I'm taking about 10g a day myself.

    recommending 3-5 gram a day no matter what the persons bodyweight doesn't sound very accurate anyway.

    I used to take 5 grams per day.

    It was after reading that article on schwarzenegger.com that I started taking bw x .3g

    Have not died yet

    that would make 25.5g my daily intake then (bw 85kg)
