Application to Maynooth

    I was trying to apply as a mature student to maynooth this year and its asking me to give Referees. My last job has closed down and I cant contact the owner. Any suggestions on what I should do thanks

    I imagine it's more character references they are looking for. Obviously any previous employer would be good. Failing that, do you volunteer with your local GAA club? You could get the chairman to write a letter.

    When I applied they didn't even call my references. I think they might only do that if your previous work is relevant to the degree you apply for.
